Responsibilities

Responsible for the coordinating, movement and reviewing of raw materials for production.  Reviews materials against inventory levels.  Generates batch cards for scheduling purposes.  Maintains inventory control for all finished goods and raw materials.

  • Coordinates inventory levels an movement of raw materials for Production.
  • Generate batch cards for scheduled compounds. Check accuracy and work with Technical team to maintain up to date batch card ingredients and
  • Work with Production Supervisors and Employees to maintain inventory control of all raw materials, work in process compounds and finished
  • Responsible for production reporting and accurate inventory of all raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials.
  • Establish and resolve non-technical production and inventory problems and reporting errors.
  • Responsible to enter changes to inventory in M3 system.
  • Responsible to confirm the supply and demand model in M3 as needed.
  • Communicate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sister Plants to secure required raw materials to meet production schedule
  • Assists as needed in the management of finished goods in the Warehouses.
  • Reviews daily demand against forecast and strategic requirements for raw
  • Designated power user for M3- ERP system; which includes understanding and communicating design changes made by the core ERP team to the appropriate people within the business; troubleshooting systems problems and assisting core ERP team to implement solutions to the problems and assisting in training of colleagues on ERP system.
  • Follow standard operating procedures including material substitutions as
  • Back-up for Materials Resource Planner/ Scheduler for Plant.
  • Other relevant and related duties as needed and required.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education, Skills and Competencies:

 

  • 2 or 4 year degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Two-years experience in either production or material.
  • Two-years experience in Inventory Control.
  • Experience in MRP, production and inventory control
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of APICS principles and standards are preferred.
  • Organizational Management Skills
  • Problem Solving Techniques
  • Interpersonal Skills- Communication Skills
