    Join our team as a Quality Control Manager supporting the Leomisnter, MA Plant. In this role you will be responsible for plant wide assessment and compliance to all quality system requirements. Manages the complaint process in order to improve customer satisfaction, develop and implement programs to decrease the complaint rate. Also provide technical assistance in interpreting customer quality system requirements.

    • Manage the internal product quality program (MPR system) at the Leominster, MA Plant.
    • Manage the Master Document Control system , the Internal Audit program and the Internal
    • Corrective Action Resolution (ICAR) system for the Leominster, MA Plant.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manual for the Leominster, MA Plant.
    • Provide statistical analysis support for the Leominster, MA QC Laboratory.
    • Manage the ISO 9001 system to satisfy customer requirements.
    • Acquire and implement new Quality systems (i.e. TS 16949 and Six Sigma), and use these to identify gaps in current systems and facilitate quality improvements.
    • Provide technical service to external customers as directed by Sales or the Technical
    • Manages the QC Laboratory area within the Plant, inclusive of day-to-day functions of the QC Laboratory area and the Laboratory Technicians.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Laboratory SOPs, Test Methods, and equipment.
    • Manage customer complaint investigation assignments through the TABS system. Accountable for the Leominster, MA Plant complaint handling; maintain the complaint handling policy and systems for customers and suppliers.  Develop improvement programs with the aim to reduce the number and cost of complaints.
    • Prepare and lead customer audits for the Leominster, MA Plant.
    • Perform supplier quality audits for Corporate Purchasing and provide support with customer quality audits at the Leominster, MA Plant.
    • Complete system and/or process improvement projects or other items assigned by the Plant Manager or the TPE Quality Systems Manager.
    • Project leader of Quality Improvement Projects as to be defined for continuous quality improvement action and/or repetitive complaint resolution.
    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.


    Qualifications & Competencies

    • 2 or 4 year degree in related field preferred or relevant experience.
    • Certified Lead Auditor
    • 3-5 years serving in a technical or quality capacity for a manufacturer of plastics products is preferred.
    • ERP system experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.
