Responsibilities

In this role you will be an integral part of a multi-functional team, which strives to be the industry leader in customer service.  In this role you will develop strong customer relationships and focus on achieving customer satisfaction by receiving, entering and confirming orders determining product availability and delivery schedules and resolving customer disputes.  This position is the principal in-house contact with our customers and is responsible for the delivery of quality service to our customers. You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Auditing of order acknowledgements for accuracy, provide resolution to any issues identified
  • Helps customers resolve issues or disputes by investigating and interacting with Credit, Technical Services, Manufacturing, Traffic, Sales, to determine a solution
  • Contributes to the relationship with customers by developing an understanding of the product needs within assigned territory and managing assigned accounts
  • Review back-orders and late orders and take necessary action
  • Monitor Inventory Management Programs as required
  • Regularly communicating with the customers and their Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Industry Managers and recommending areas for improvement
  • Set up new accounts, customer files, and address changes when required

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High School or GED
  • 1-3 years related customer service or order processing experience
  • Communication and organizational skills; ability to support a team environment
  • Strong computer skills, including exposure to ERP systems
  • High-volume order processing in a manufacturing environment helpful
