    This position is responsible for seeking out new business opportunities for the vinyl division and developing, coordinating and implementing plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities. The position is also responsible for coordinating activities between Sales, marketing, technical and manufacturing to insure a successful commercialization on CTC projects.  Works closely with marketing in Asia to implement global strategies to improve overall business results


    • Identify market trends and customer needs that will drive new product development and new business development efforts.

    • Develop and monitor a robust new product pipeline through effective use of the CTC process across the division.

    • Develop and implement market plans to grow new market areas for the Vinyl business to a comparable size as the current market segments of the division.

    • Develop and implement a marketing program designed to increase qualified leads from web based sources.

    • Develop and implement a content marketing program designed to generate new leads and demonstrate the technology development capability of the Vinyl Division.

    • Develop and implement a communications plan to promote the Vinyl division products to potential customer using trade shows, press releases, and pro-active marketing campaigns 

    • Develop and maintain a database of customer contacts that can be used for marketing communication and outreach programs.

    • Position has responsibility or authority for the direction of others (direct reports and in a matrix setting).

    Qualifications & Competencies

    • Position requires at least 10 years of experience in specialty plastics industry preferably in a multinational environment.

    • Masters degree or higher in a Technical Discipline or Business Administration.

    • Work is basically non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables. Analytic ability and inductive thinking are required to devise new methods in situations where previously accepted methods have proven inadequate.

    • Creative thinking is regularly employed with problem solving. Strategic planning involves creative thinking.

    Travel: 35-50%
